Quiz Bowl

Congratulations to the quiz bowl team who competed today against Pershing and Horace Mann. They did a fantastic job despite their loss.

Closing Ceremonies

Today was our closing ceremony for our February PBIS Olympic challenge of treating others with RESPECT.  We had two students who placed in the 4th and 5th grade division.  Maddy Bertz was the silver medalist and Alyssa Sanderson won the gold.  Although we won both the silver and gold, team China was not the overall winner.  The overall medal went to Team Sweden.

A Day of Respect

Achieve 3000

We have won the Achieve 3000 championship belt 2 weeks in a row.  This is earned when our class percentage on the activities in Achieve 3000 is the highest among the 4/5 teams.  We have been working hard to read the articles carefully and reread to answer the comprehension questions.  Will we be able to keep it another week?

A month into school and we are already writing like authors. Several drafts of our first writing pieces are being merged to make our draft the best story it can be...

Band Orchestra Chorus Concert

The band, orchestra, chorus concert was on December 12th.  We had several musical members of our classroom participate. It was fantastic to hear all of their hard work and practice shine through in the songs they sang or played.
